Our Staff

Mackay Insurance is proud to have over 100 years of brokerage experience amongst it?s staff. Bruce Mackay is the president of Mackay Insurance and oversees the day to day operations. David Mackay, founder, is still active in the business and is focused on new business sales.

BRUCE MACKAY

Bruce is owner/manager of Mackay Insurance Brokers. He has been involved in the business for 22 years. Bruce is also a licensed Life Insurance Broker. Bruce is married and has 3 children (8,6, & 3) Bruce enjoys the Belleville Bulls hockey games, helping with church activities and hosts his own radio show on 91.3FM CJLX tuesday evenings from 8-9.
 

Dawne Mclennan is a registered broker and has worked for Mackay Insurance for 32 years. Dawne is responsible for the alpha split A-C. She is married with 2 children. Dawne enjoys cooking and her grandchildren.  Dawne will be working Monday to Thursday. 

Anita Pordham first joined the Mackay Insurance team in 2002.  She stayed home with her children in 2005 and rejoined the staff in 2008 in our policy services department.  Lisa Raby left in April on Maternity Leave and Anita has assumed the role over the D-I alpha split in April or 2010. Anita has her CAIB Designation and her BA. Anita is married with 2 children.

Donna Mitchell-Parry is a new member of the Mackay Insurance Team.  She has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry and has her CIP Designation.  Donna assumes the role of Broker Rep for the alpha split J-Mc from Tifanny who was on Maternity Leave and has relocated out of the area

Holly Phillips is a licensed broker who has worked for Mackay Insurance for 21 years. Holly is responsible for the alpha split of Me-R. Her office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 until 3:30pm. Holly recently received her CAIB designation.  A lifetime resident of the Belleville area, Holly enjoys spending time at her cottage.  Holly also is the Team Lead and responsible for management of the Service Reps.

Pam Bell has been a licensed broker for over 20 years, 10 years at Mackay Insurance. Pam is responsible for the alpha split S-Z. Pam is married with 2 children. Pam enjoys long walks and reality tv.  Pam will be working Tuesdays-Fridays 

 

David started Mackay Insurance back in 1977 in Belleville after moving here from Quebec. He is currently semi-retired but heads up our New Business Sales. David enjoys attending Southern Gospel Concerts, Belleville Bulls Games, and playing with his Grandchildren.

Joy Harris joined the Mackay Insurance team in February of 2010 in our Policy Services department.  She recently completed her RIBO licence and was awarded the highest mark in the class.  Joy will continue in our policy services department as well as assisting in New Business Sales.  Joy and her husband are active with Quinte YFC/Youth Unlimited.

Don Kuntze joined the Mackay Family Insurance Team in September of 2010 in our Sales department.  Don brings with him over 18 years experience in the Insurance Industry specializing in Farms, Commercial, & Residential Insurance.  Don & his wife live in Quinte West where he was recently re-elected to his second term as councillor for the city of Quinte West

Liz Mawer is responsible for Reception and Administrative duties at Mackay Insurance.  Liz is the friendly voice you'll hear everytime you call in.  Liz and her husband live in Belleville and recenlty became Grandparents for the 2nd time.

Lisa Raby began with Mackay Insurance in 2006 as our receptionist. She obtained her brokers licence in 2007. She returned from Matt Leave in April of 2011 and currently works with our Service Reps and assisting in automation and download initiatives




Joel Haas Joins our staff in the Policy Services Department.  Joel and his wife recently moved from Hamilton, Ontario and recently became parents in September.  Joel obtained his brokers licence in 2011 and will be working with our Sales Department in the coming months
